In 2001, he was honored by the Oregon State Art Committee to the Exhibition of Yiqian Shu Excellent Art Achievements at the Oregon Governor’s Mansion. In 1998, he was awarded the silver prize in the World Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Competition in Beijing. He is listed in the “Who’s Who of Contemporary Chinese Artists” (1990) and “The Album of Contemporary Chinese Artists” (1992).
